Success of every business comes from the satisfaction of the customer. As we all involve ourself in SE Optimization / Marketing process it’s vital to get satisfaction from the clients. By setting the proper propositions right from the start in the project you can easily create and manage a successful SEO project. This even applies for the people those who run in-house SEO campaigns, through which you can make your Boss / CEO happy with the SEO campaign results. Lets discuss few things which can be done with due plan and implementation which makes the clients happy!

Get Enough Details : Try get as much as information from the client regarding the website like the primary keywords, geo target regions, his main competitor etc. This helps understand clients’ requirement from the beginning and set the project goals to chase!

Long Time Process : Do inform the clients if they are new to SEO that SEO is a long time process. Unlike PPC you can’t expect the results and ranking over a night in SEO campaign. Help them understand the process and if possible show them the results you have achieved in similar niche over the period. This helps them understand that you are capable enough to bring his / her site top in SERP under the given niche.

Inform Clients on their Efforts: You can’t have access to make changes under few clients and to even update the page title and meta tags you have to depend on the client himself. In such cases, inform them the importance of implementing the changes at the earliest.

Track Results : Make sure you track all possible project results (Keyword ranking, Website Traffic, Goal Conversion etc). Your project scope may be increasing the keyword ranking in SERP. But suddenly the client would ask what traffic these keywords generated by your efforts. By now, if you don’t have any web analytics software installed it would be very difficult to answer. What ever may be the project scope, be sure to track all possible results. Also have them documented for further reference.

Help Clients : Have a habit of helping clients if its not a issue WRT SEO. For example, if your client wants to track his email marketing via Google analytics you can help him out and earn his trust.

Success of the project will depend on the results as well as the client satisfaction. When you are proactive and result oriented your client will be more respectful for you. Having a healthy and happy relationship with the client is all about! When your client is happy with you and your work he will refer his / her business partners to you this helps you get more projects for your team / company. Have a happy / trouble free relation with clients!
